The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is hosting Asia Day 2026 on Monday, June 15, at its Mount Scopus Campus in Jerusalem. Organized by the Department of Asian Studies and the Louis Frieberg Center for East Asian Studies, this free event celebrates Asian culture and community with a full day of activities starting at 10:00.
What’s On#
- Lectures — academic and cultural talks on Asian topics, open to all with no pre-registration
- Workshops — hands-on activities (registration required, allocated by lottery)
- Traditional clothing — displays and a chance to try on attire from across Asia
- Stalls — representing different Asian communities and cultures
- Live music
How to Attend#
Admission is free and the event is open to the general public. Attendees must present an ID and this invitation at the entrance.
Workshop spots are limited and assigned by lottery — register now through the official registration form before spots run out. Lectures are open to everyone without advance registration.
