Japanese Dessert Pop-Up at Koko Zen Tel Aviv#
The Japanese café Koko Zen in Tel Aviv is hosting a special pop-up of authentic Japanese desserts through the end of May 2026. The event brings renowned Japanese pastry chef from the Instagram account @lovekinokokissa_ai to Israel, offering a selection of traditional and contemporary desserts from Japanese cuisine.
About the Event#
The pop-up runs during the café’s regular business hours and will continue until May 31st. Visitors can sample a variety of Japanese desserts prepared by a professional pastry chef, an experience that brings a piece of Japanese confectionery culture to Tel Aviv.
Koko Zen, known for its Japanese pancakes and traditional dishes like hojicha, continues to expand the city’s Asian offerings. The café has returned to full operation after closing due to security conditions in April, and is now open Sunday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
What to Expect#
The pop-up offers a rare opportunity to taste authentic Japanese desserts prepared by a skilled pastry chef. This is the latest addition to Koko Zen’s diverse menu, which also includes savory pancakes with hollandaise sauce and fluffy strawberry sando – dishes that represent the meeting of Japanese tradition with contemporary flavors.
The event is time-limited, and visitors are encouraged to come soon to experience the desserts before the pop-up ends at the end of the month.
